Elon Knoll received his MD from Wayne State University in Detroit. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Detroit Medical Center and went on to complete a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Karmanos Cencer Center in Michigan. He continued with the Karmanos Cancer Center for a few years after his fellowship and subspecialised in the treatment of breast cancer.
Dr. Knoll is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology and Medical Oncology. Although he treats a wide range of cancers, he has a special interest in the treatment of solid tumors including breast cancer, lung cancer, and gastrointestinal cancers. He enjoys working with residents and fellows. He delivers lectures regularly as part of their training. Dr. Knoll is the head of Hematology and Oncology at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren and is actively involved in various projects to improve cancer care for their patients.
