Office Hours

The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Patient appointments are scheduled at Great Lakes Cancer Management Specialists by calling (313) 884-5522 (Grosse Pointe Woods) or  (586) 991-0700 (Utica) (586) 576-1615 (Warren) during these hours.  The same number can be called for emergencies and will be answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  How your call may be handled.

Your Office Appointment

To help us serve all of our patients promptly and  efficiently, please follow these guidelines:

• Please be on time for your appointment.

• Because of the serious nature of our patient's illness, we get many phone calls during the day and often must add in an urgently ill patient.  This may cause an unexpected delay in your appointment.  Your patience in this regard is greatly appreciated.  You may require this same kind of special attention at some time.  If your schedule cannot allow this on a particular day, please feel free to reschedule.

• If you are unable to keep an appointment, please notify the office 24 hours in advance of your appointment. We have a waiting list for new patients.  If you do not cancel your appointment in advance you are denying another patient an earlier opportunity to be seen.  There is fee for missed appointments when no notice is given in advance.

• Bring all health insurance information with you and notify us should there be any changes in your coverage.

• Bring all necessary referral forms with you. (If your insurance company requires you to have a referral form bring it.  You cannot be seen without it.).

• Bring a list of all your prescription medications and the actual bottles themselves to you first appointment so that we have an accurate record of all your medications. If your medication changes please let the office know.

• Bring copies of any pertinent records from any of your other physicians.

• Notify us of all the doctors that should receive reports of your visit.
